Paradox2140 & The Carryover Effect

I love it when someone makes your point for you. During every Neptune-Pluto wave, a carry-over effect dominates. It’s the same dynamic where generals fight the last war, political leaders govern from the past and CEOs direct based on the next quarterly report.. The past represents the tried and true; what we know. We, meaning society, change slowly, no matter how far ahead individuals can see. It is for this reason, I very much doubt the ‘following a new vision’ conjecture surrounding 2012. Yes, many have enlightened ideas, but our laws, contracts and traditions anchor us to past agreements, expectations and cultural mores. People make history and history changes as new generations replace old ones.

Paradox2140:Progress is based on the Neptune-Pluto wave. 2140 is the midpoint of this Neptune-Pluto wave, 1893Neptune-2384. I expect that last time, we will not get to whatever ‘Enlightenment’ means for this wave until then, just like the Age of Reason augured first steps toward Enlightenment at the midpoint of the last way. Face it the Progress Paradox comes rooted in a veneration of Science & Technology and applied worship for the Industrial Overlord. Do you really see us ending addiction to (overly) cheap carbon fuels and the idea that science will save us from ourselves?
